Moving Bunsenlabs from Debian 8 (jessie) to Debian 9 (stretch)

I have a nice Bunbsenlabs running system based on Debian Jessie and want to upgrade to Stretch.

Is it a right time do do that or should I wait still?

Could you please provide information how to upgrade with the least problems?

Least problems or no problems? Is it your (only) production system?

You could start by reading through  Installing BunsenLabs Helium-dev. Then you can consider again, if you can wait for final Helium release or want to go experimental way.

Also search through topics with posts containing '[helium-dev]'

We are still in the process of bug-fixing the new release so it's probably best to wait unless you want to help us squish the little blighters.

For the record: I don't think we will be able to offer an officially-sanctioned upgrade path from Hydrogen/Deuterium to Helium and so any upgrades would have to be taken at the user's own risk and with careful reference to https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/ … ng.en.html along with support from our ever-helpful community.
