Hi all!
My usb ports suddenly stopped working. Last change I remember was updating the kernel to 3.16.0-4-amd64 a few days ago.
lsub shows:
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bda:b006 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 05e3:0608 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0bda:57c4 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Either the usb stick is connected or not.
Tried with various sticks that work on other pc.
I don't want to use a backported kernel for various reasons.
Any help? thanks in advance!
EDIT: Forget to mention I am using Bunsenlabs Deuterium.

Problem solved.
Looks like one of my usb sticks was borked (bad partition table). After it was pluged, the system locks ¿? the usb ports.
The solution I found was to press power button for 10-15 seconds and start the laptop again, then plug a working usb stick. Decided to create a new partition table on the rebel stick and problem is gone.
Only extrange thing I can found is that the usb stick was an openbsd live usb.
Nevermind, mark thread as SOLVED.
