I found something else that is a possible helium-dev bug:
New libreoffice in stretch-backports removes bunsen-meta-libreoffice. May need to update the bunsen-meta-libreoffice package.

The metapackage is to pull in Libreoffice by its dependencies - it doesn't matter all that much if it's removed afterwards. But it's still strange - do you remember what terminal messages you got when installing the backports LO?
...elevator in the Brain Hotel, broken down but just as well...

I actually didn't upgrade LO from stretch backports yet, just was posting what apt told me and wanted to be sure it is OK. May do no harm maybe updating that meta package in the Helium repo at some point.

OK installed LO from Stretch-backports and no issues encountered.
