@damo, right, but did that version of bl-welcome make it into the ISOs? I mean that if it didn't, first boot will run bl-welcome and it will upgrade your system which will upgrade bl-welcome, but that part of the script won't be there unless you close bl-welcome and manually restart it, I think.

Correct. @hhh is there an easy way for you to check what version of bunsen-welcome comes in the RC1 iso? Anyway, it will be fixed in the next release for sure. (There's more stuff coming up in bunsen-welcome, like optional install for flashplugin-nonfree, deb-multimedia pinned at 100, logging...)

^ I can confirm that the fdpowermon check isn't in the bl-welcome in rc1; I installed from rc1 and didn't see anything about removing fdpowermon on first-run, but I did notice it when I re-ran cb-welcome to...can't remember...something-or-other, maybe added sshfs via the development screens...but I remember it was after a couple of updates.

tknomanzr - fantastic - I also had not seen the laptop question on install, so have followed Damo's comments and re-run the bl-welcome script, which asked the laptop question. I'm no longer getting error messages on the power supply. Thanks all for the education, as well as the solution. K

Re: [RESOLVED] xsession-errors file growing to very large size

Marking this SOLVED.

-edit- @ohnonot... You mentioned a similar instance in another thread and this is another workaround, so not a [SOLVED] issue. Marking this [RESOLVED].

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?
