Re: [SOLVED] Help with Tint2 shortcuts

^ I thought you were following a tutorial about how to build the deb? So far you just have the source and the .dsc file - the next stage is to build it.

HowTo: Create debs from Testing/Unstable/Experimental/Ubuntu/PPA

Re: [SOLVED] Help with Tint2 shortcuts

Sigh.

Sometimes when I get frustrated, I get tunnel vision and don't look. It's a character flaw.

Finishing the tutorial now.

Lol, it happens. If you still fail, I can write it out and replace "foo" with the right filename, or I can just build the damn deb for you. smile

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

The beauty of johnraff's alternatives system is that new ones can be added.

Re: [SOLVED] Help with Tint2 shortcuts

What a PITA.

I would like to thank you all for the hand holding. I am keeping the .deb file I just made for later installs.

It's now installed, working fine with ALFT+F2 and my Tint2 works great.

Now it's solved.

And now for a beer.

I'd like to point out this, sadly, was the most difficult app install i've ever done in linux. Usually it's pretty easy and I don't need help. But for some reason I just kept hitting roadblocks.

I will be more than happy to share the .deb if anyone wants it.
