Why or why did I switch ?

Coming from gentoo/funtoo and having purchased redhat enterpr linux and using fedora at one time, especially as a former ubuntu user decided to use debian is wondering why there is or is was a need to switch to Bunsen or crunchbang

Re: Why or why did I switch ?

User was experienced using freebsd Unix and had actually purchased that as well as the Macintosh server platform , had used archlinux , purchased gentoo also , but why Bunsen, the user also has the windows server but doesn't actually use windows anymore unless specifically requested

It's pointless trying Crunchbang IMO - it is years behind, and the repos are down.

There is absolutely no need to switch to BunsenLabs - try a Live session and see what you think. One of its great features though, is that it can supply capital letters and punctuation marks, which your system presumably can't.

Yeah, you can just do a Debian netinstall and add Openbox and set things up yourself, if you want something like that. This is what I do. But BunsenLabs is very nice, and it can save you the time and effort -- that might be a very important factor, depending on the user. Also, it's the coolest Debian derivative out there, in my humble opinion.
