^That's a really cool summer time wallpaper! Very nice desktop.
Thanks
Is that C program in your github page somewhere?
Not on github, I'll post a link below.

I think this is it:
https://github.com/easysid/dotfiles/tre … /panelinfo
A simple `make` seems to do the trick (libmpd-dev will probably be needed)
EDIT: (or whatever the Void equivalent is, ofc 8) )
That's the old program that prints everything. I have since toned it down, although the structure remains the same. Just some flags to show info when needed (I couldn't think of a better way).
Everything is crammed into a single file. Beware. Feel free to drop a msg.

Very nice work!
I like void and must give fluxbox on void a spin...

@PackRat Which font name you are using on your terminal?

That's so magical. I liked AntiX and have 13.2 on an old laptop that's sitting in my closet.
Digging the crumpled paper icons too.

@Glenn - well done. You have a link to the original wallpaper, reverse searching only brings up cropped images.
You must unlearn what you have learned.

@PackRat, Thanks! Sure on a black console background looks great just like your above scrot, but since i use white color, I'm doing better with Inconsolata.

I bought a new laptop. It came with Windows 10. I have no major complaints with Windows 10 yet. They will probably arise eventually. Still running various incarnations of Debian on my older machines.

You need some eye candy for your desktop.

I once typed orionthehunter's name and quickly copy/pasted it in place.
I didn't think onionthehunter would go over well.
Same with brontosaursrex, didn't think he'd appreciate brontosaurssex

^ +1 Sh-sh-sh...don't tell him about how much Windows 10 spies on what you do. He seems to be happy. We don't want to spoil his fun.

I adjusted dzen2+conky in one file, shortened some code, I have to cut it even more those fg colors and icons. Yes, 27MB (1%) startup

After one week, 60 more packages installed and couple of UI tweaks, I'm very happy with BL at work. Next milestone will be 1 month uptime and final assessment about reliability of the software soup I've installed after first boot up. Still searching for an editor and file manager. Atom seems to be the best candidate so far since it has all the features I need, even if it's heavy on RAM. But... I have zero candidates for file manager. I've got used to Total Commander, its features and plugins, and it seems like I'm too picky about this one.
Did I mention I'm very happy with BL?
*drumroll*
...and here comes the screenshot that looks almost the same as my last one.
Señor Chang, why do you teach Spanish?
