Audacity and VST plugins

Hi guys,
i can't figure out how to enable/install vst plugins. I just dropped the .dll file into the plugin folder of Audacity but it doesn't sees it. I'm running a 64bit pc and the vst is definitely 64bit. Any clue?

Hey there!

I don`t think you will be able to get this to work:

The majority of plug-ins will be for Windows only unless OS 9 or OS X is stated.

I checked here to see what Plug-ins are available but there is only one reported to work with linux-installation and I don`t really know whether this is what you are looking for.

So unless you install the Windoof-version of Audacity using wine, none of the *.dll`s will be of any use to you...
