The new BL "Deuterium" build.
If I leave my computer for a few minutes (? a while) the screen goes black and I have to move the mouse rapidly to get to my screen only to see the login screen.
How can I stop this action?
I want my screen there all day long whether I'm using the computer or not.
in my autostart file:
### Stop screen from going black ###
(xset -dpms && xset s off) & ### Does not work in BL D
I have no screensaver here.

Have you checked the power management settings? ( Menu -> Preferences -> Power Management )
Specifically the Lock Screen checkbox on the System tab, and the Display tab settings.

Using openbox, correct?
...screen goes black and I have to move the mouse rapidly to get to my screen only to see the login screen.
That looks like you do have a screensaver/locker running.
What *.desktop files are installed in /etc/xdg/autostart/
I thought BL uses light-locker by default, so perhaps this thread is still applicable?

You must unlearn what you have learned.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh just removed light-locker and xfce4-power-manager.
Thank you, I must have done that a few years back and forgot.
