Hey,
I installed the Helium netinstall script onto the stretch netinstall RC4.
In Thunar, in the right-click menu, you can open a terminal in the current directory with "open a terminal here".
If no other terminal window is already started, this works as expected.
If another terminal is already started, the new terminal starts in the original path of the first terminal.
If I select "open root terminal here", the password is requested in a window. Afterwards, no terminal starts.
Tell me if I can help tracing down the error!

I also installed the Helium-dev netinstall onto a basic stretch system, and don't get your problems. All thunar right-click terminal options work as expected.
Anything in '.xsession-errors'?

Is nautilus a mistake in the title or not?
I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

@OP: have you seen https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=3775?

Thanks for your replies!
@damo: yes, I meant thunar and corrected the title.

The last few lines were added when I tried to reproduce the error, so there seems to be a problem with glib.
However, there seem to be other errors.
I will try the following now:
* installing python-keybinder (I just realized, that the new terminal window also isn't focused.)
* googling why /home/daniel/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf is missing.
@ Head_on_a_stick: Thank you for the link. The directories I openend had no strange characters (only letters and underscores), but I will try that nonetheless.

I'm confused:
apt says python-keybinder is installed.
.xsession-errors claims it is not installed.
@ Head_on_a_Stick:
I tested every possible command in the link.
None of them changed the behaviour.

Paradoxon, sorry I can't help you, but I'm sure those xsession errors are unrelated (and in fact harmless).

@Paradoxon: On an unrelated note, you seem to have 2 power managers running.

Yes, sorry, I don't think that problem is directly connected, I didn't read your OP properly :8
Can we see the netinstall script log please?
It should be at ~/.cache/bunsen-netinstall-logs/install.log and will show if anything went awry.
I cannot reproduce your problem in my Diproton system unless I have my shell automatically attach to a tmux session; can you share your shell initialisation files?
If you are using bash then this will be ~/.bash_profile & ~/.bashrc; zsh uses ~/.zprofile, ~/.zlogin & ~/.zshrc; the various Korn (and Almquist) Shells will use either ~/.kshrc or $ENV (if set) along with ~/.profile
