Psalm of True Coffee Worshipers
Caffeine is my shepherd; I shall not doze.
It maketh me to wake in green pastures:
It leadeth me beyond the sleeping masses.
It restoreth my buzz:
It leadeth me in the paths of consciousness for its name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of addiction,
I will fear no Equal:
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me.
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of MY MUG:
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over.
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the House of Mochas forever.

But ... but ... I didn't write that ... Unknown wrote that.
Let's see what I can do with it ....
Psalm of The Suds
Beer is my shepherd; I shall not thirst.
It maketh me to doze in wet streets:
It leadeth me to great urinals.
It restoreth my bravery:
It leadeth me to the paths of semi-consciousness for its name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of hops and barley,
I will fear no wine:
For thou art with me; thy foam and thy bubbles they comfort me.
Thou preparest a keg before me in the presence of MY STEIN:
Thou anointest my nights with snores; my stein runneth over.
Surely hiccups and burps shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I shall dwell in the House of Suds forever.

Any ornithologist here?
Right now there is a small bird sitting outside on my windowsill. Suddenly I had the impression something flew against the window, looked outside and there it is: It's around four inches long, (middle-)grey on the back, white under the beak and sort of yellowish white down the rest. It just stares at me when I'm standing in front of the window. I could even open the window, put a small plate with water and bread-crumbles there. No eating, it just stares at me.
Any idea what kind of bird it might and why it is doing that? (btw. it's a rather hot day here)
Edit: Ok, I guess that bird was only a bit dizzy, it sat there for a while, next time I looked at it, it looked back, got up, took a big shit and flew away.
Now I will have to clean that thing off

Any geographers here? We need to know where @martix's bird is to be found

^ You still haven't said where it is. This is pretty crucial information!
Your IP suggests Harrogate, so try RSPB bird identifier
Unless it is something rare, the grey wagtail is most likely, but your description and pic need to be more informative.

^That's a great site, thanks! Indeed, probably a grey wagtail, that looks on the picture very similar to the one I saw.
I guess the bird needed a resting place for a few minutes. Just like when I drink too much, get home and try to find my keys to open the door. That takes time too sometimes. First standing stable, then focus, where am I?, oh yes, I want to get in, what's the password? no, hold on, I need keys here, where are they? focus, move arm, no the other one, find pocket, find the right keys, can be a complicated mission.

Found this: http://www.whatbird.com/browse/objs/All … 05%20in%29

Unfortunately searching for "large do-do on window sill" got me nowhere.
EDIT: except damo ninja'd me.

@martix
If your original bird description included "long, wagging tail", which is one of the obvious features of a wagtail oddly enough.......
Remember to include the full configuration, and any commands you used, if you want a diagnosis in the future, and please use [ code ] wags ]:D

I've just told Mrs. HoaS about the Debian 9.0 release date and the imminent switch over to stretch.
The reaction was... not positive.
The family laptop may be staying with jessie until the LTS transition, I don't think I can win this argument
