Re: Icedove to Thunderbird....ever?

Actually, I noticed today, and a PSA for every here, that thunderbird was put into jessie stable, but I didn't update my sources, so I assume it being brought into jessie stable was a fairly recent change. Anyway, means I can download it on my main laptop!

mothra@mothra:~$ sudo apt-cache policy thunderbird
thunderbird:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 1:45.8.0-3~deb8u1
  Version table:
     1:45.8.0-3~deb8u1 0
        500 http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates/main amd64 Packages

Re: Icedove to Thunderbird....ever?

Today I did this:

copied: ~/.thunderbird (symlinked to ~/.icedove) --> /media/10/.thunderbird_xxx
- - - (it now has two yellow XX symlink icons in the name)
copied: ~/.icedove  --> /media/10/.icedove
deleted ~/.thunderbird
renamed ~/.icedove to ~/.thunderbird

Everything seems fine.

Icedove to Thunderbird, no issues here either! Firetools has to be updated though, it remains stuck with the icedove settings.
