Thanks Hoas for explanation, suggestion and the links. I'll save those two lines to check em later.
Of course that Stable system put me on a long sleep smile

Re: May 2017 Screenshots

I've been invaded, one Tux wants to go surfing, the other?
2017-05-17_160636_Scrot11.th.jpg
Well, he's busy reading the BL Manual,  on top of my computer.  big_smile

EDIT: Found these two creatures in a toy bin that my MIL had for our two young nieces.  They are too old to be interested in them today so I 'adopted' them.

EDIT 2: The one not reading is the surfing dude from "Surf's Up", Tank Evens.

Just my idea of humour S11, sorry!

I've even convinced systemd so it must be official:

empty@Diproton:~ $ hostnamectl
   Static hostname: Diproton
         Icon name: computer-laptop
           Chassis: laptop
        Machine ID: 703d8704511f4114a7fc21f6e175ef31
           Boot ID: 2931f8b5ab5c4422b1468f1be83813e4
Operating System: BunsenLabs GNU/Linux 9.0 (Diproton)
            Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64
empty@Diproton:~ $

And now back to your usual programme...

Don't apologize, I found it funny as all get up.

I've even convinced systemd so it must be official:

empty@Diproton:~ $ hostnamectl

And now back to your usual programme...

And how pray tell did you manage that?

No way, don't answer, off topic.

What's that conky?  That's not weather ... you need to hang out over at Teo's Place.  I'd suggest starting at page 64 and working backwards.

I do like blue though.

Changed x-terminal-emulator to st, I can live with the dud icon in tint2.

Memory comparison for st vs. terminator:

empty@Helium:~ $ ps-mem | grep 'x-terminal\|terminator'
  2.0 MiB + 559.5 KiB = 2.5 MiB	x-terminal-emul
 27.6 MiB + 6.3 MiB = 33.9 MiB	terminator

Hmmm.

You also apply the alpha patch for the transparancy, or has that feature been added?

Teo's using conky v1.10 so most - if not all of the samples that come with the scripts are converted already  smile

That's with the alpha patch applied, I don't think suckless would ever incorporate that feature upstream.

Anyway I've now decided to switch to a light terminal scheme that doesn't need transparency to look pretty:

Sorry to spam again music player but found a font that made it more compact so i wanted to show once again with different font settings.
Decided to use fonts-yozvox-yozfont-antique as default for system and apps.

Re: May 2017 Screenshots

Trying to figure out Devuan via virtualbox. Pretty cool, the documentation is a bit scattered which is confusing for a newbie.

Im impressed, will be a good learning curve. DevuanLabs?

This is a minimal install, openbox, tint2, surf.

github doesnt play nice with surf.

There are a few Devuan-based spins already out there that draw heavily from #!, just like BunsenLabs.

Outdated webkit version, perhaps?

Re: May 2017 Screenshots

Crowz i believe maybe one of those spins but uses Fluxbox, I really like what they did with that distro.

I dont think i would use surf full time, via virtualbox ok, but seems buggy and from what i read not very safe.
