Re: October 2015 Screenshots

That being said, that was my best fish this year.  20 inch brown in New Mexico.  Hopefully I'll get a 30 inch steelhead while I'm camped out here in Northern California/ Oregon for a month.  @Packrat probably knows where the fish are.

Re: October 2015 Screenshots

Installed using johnraff's superb script

@ HoaS: Agreed!

And (quickly) back to my modern openbox

@ bronto: Gorgeous. I've recovered my borked postbang install. Up and running again. Will add some acyl and hhh's themes to it. That will be a nice merge of talents. LOL.

Love it. Depending on the systems I sometimes use dmenu2 and sometimes I prefer dmenu-v. In any case, great patches there.

@Rooster Cogburn... Damnation! Good to see you here!

@all, I've gone through all 14 wonderful pages of this thread and removed some large thumbnails (sorry Dobbie!) There are some that are like 320x200 that I've left, we don't need to be militant. Please use thumbnails that look like thumbnails, thanks!

@Packrat probably knows where the fish are.

And he's f'ing jealous.

Nice catch though - how did you cook it up? Last I was at the lake, had a 3 lb bass jump my hook before my oldest could get the net under him. For steelhead, I always went to either the Rogue or North Umpqua rivers.

back on topic -

Re: October 2015 Screenshots

I got Arch setup in a VM. What a PITA.

I have been testing using linux as my primary OS and Windows 10 in a VM and it meets all my work needs. Finally.

So I decided on Arch because it's a rolling distro and as such means I *shouldn't* have to re-install to often. If I do, I have my VM. Also because I've never run Arch before. Man, what an excercise. It makes me appreciate the distro's that are setup out of the box. I've got a few basic's up and running. Check it out.

I diddn't wanted to. It was xorg. I've built a sorta PostBang on top of BBQ's Smoothie (sysvint). The recent xorg changes f***ed the BBQs having X. xserver-xorg-legacy fixed it and Miss Johansson is happy again.

I guess it could easily be... but no. it's just random parametric lines that I like to work with :)

altman wrote:

@altman I've been on sid for 3 weeks now and almost from the beginning of this install... after multiple upgrades/dist-upgrades, only the usual troubles with my wifi... but nothing to do with BL so far.
