[SOLVED] Persistent red border over networkmanager icon in tint2

Hi,

to continue as what I mentioned in March 2017 screenshot post, I am unable to find any solution to this issue.

@hhh, as you replied, I have tried clicking over it and then clicking somewhere else, thinking that the networkmanager applet might be needing attention, even tried restarting networkmanager process as well as tint2rc several times but to no avail.

The same red border is appearing when I run stock BL tint2rc.

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent red border over networkmanager icon in tint2

I'm on my phone, so I can't test your config.

Replaced your config with the default and restart tint2...

https://github.com/BunsenLabs/bunsen-co … t2/tint2rc

If the border goes away, the problem is with your config. Change settings one at a time to see what the problem is.

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent red border over networkmanager icon in tint2

I have tried your config and don't get the issue. Any useful information if you run the tint2rc  in a terminal?

tint2 -c /path/to/tint2rc

Is it an urgent_task outline?

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent red border over networkmanager icon in tint2

since other systray icons do not have the border it cannot really be a tint2 thing.

i must say, it looks intentional.
have you queried the applet's various right- and left-click menus to maybe get some information on what the red border could mean?
