Re: [SOLVED] The battery icon does not exist in the system tray

Are you on a laptop using battery power? Otherwise it's a known issue.

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Using fdpowermon or upgrade to xfce4-power-manager from backports?

Re: [SOLVED] The battery icon does not exist in the system tray

Not what I asked...

Are you running Debian stable, testing or unstable?

Is fdpowermon running? Is xfce4-power-manager running? Did you upgrade xfce4-power-manager via our backports?

Did you change anything recently? If so what?

Re: [SOLVED] The battery icon does not exist in the system tray

Debian is stable, I found the error, missing entry in Power Management "panel shows the icon in the system TRAY" probably undergoing some renovation will be taken away.
Thank you for your support and excuse the loss of time.
Thanks so much   wink  wink

Re: [SOLVED] The battery icon does not exist in the system tray

We still don't know if this was fdpowermon or xfce4-power-manager from backports in your tray, or if your missing entry "error" was in our autostart file, so this thread is not much help to anyone.

Glad you have things working, though.
