Fantastic scrots this month folks, great work.
@Dobbie: that is looking very polished now
Are you using https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm … t-unicode/ for the terminal?
To get an icon for that, you need to use the Arch Build System to rebuild the stock package with PixBuf enabled otherwise the iconFile setting won't work.
Briefly:
# pacman -Syu abs
# abs
mkdir ~/abs && cp -r /var/abs/community/rxvt-unicode ~/abs && cd ~/abs/rxvt-unicode
sed -i 's/disable-pixbuf/enable-pixbuf/' PKGBUILD
makepkg -sri
A pacman hook could then be used to rebuild the package every time rxvt-unicode is updated (not very often).
had to use screenfetch instead
We have a backported screenfetch package that will show a BunsenLabs ascii logo:

@H_a_o_S: Yes URXVT is my go to, thank you for the tip. I'll bookmark that.
@h3: I clicked to that later......I was a little muddled headed.....no idea why.

OpenBSD-current is now using the 6.1 sets, the next release must be due soon...
Version 6.1 will include syspatch(8) which will allow automatic patching of the base system, this will make maintenance of OpenBSD-stable significantly easier.

gtk3, I have your number!!! SASS is up and running on my system.
This is Greybird from GitHub with just base and selected background colors altered. Thunar (gtk2), xfce4-terminal (gtk3) and Gedit (gtk3 w/ Client Side Decorations) are shown. w00t!

^Just a few pixels away from epic! Why do the corners in this 2014 Compiz/Emerald scrot seem so much smoother? Is it just the dark background, do you think?

Yes, I think so.
My window border colour contrasts sharply with that background, it was probably a poor choice for a money shot...

I don't mind the rounded window corners, but IMO it looks weird for the menu

Since it's my first stretch theme (gtk3 >3.20), I'm posting this here first so my homeboys can test it.
SoftWaves, a theme based on the default stretch wallpaper (softWaves by Juliette Taka Belin) and Greybird (by Shimmer Project).
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qaswx18mo67tx … ar.gz?dl=0
Includes themes for Openbox, GTK2/3 and Xfce4-notifyd (backwards compatible with jessie's package, shown in the scrot), and a wallpaper in SVG format (2048x1152).
You don't need a Dropbox account to download it, just dismiss the dialog and click Download again.

You're right. It does look odd. The 'roundness' needs to scale(?) with the length of the sides or something...
Offline
I think slightly bigger padding would solve that, scaling roundness will not.
p.s. Kinda interesting question it is, how round (if any) is pretty

The centre cube suits my eye. It may be that no "sharp" edge is "natural" - there is always some softening - hence the usual recommendation to have some bevelling on rendered objects.
WRT themeing, I think I have a gut reaction to things that remind me of Windoze

Looks pretty good - everything working so far:
