crunchbang and black screen after update.

As the subject says. I installed crunchbang today, and it worked just fine, after a update i cant get it to start. It only show a black screen with x as cursor, i can move it around, but cant do anything else. What am i doing wrong?

It's ok, just delete it. I was looking for a fast linux even for slow computers, and i was adviced to run crunchbang on it. Thnx for the answer.

Whatever floats your boat. Be advised, though, that BunsenLabs is the community continuation of CrunchBang, and is ideal for aging hardware.

That said, there are plenty of distros that run on old hardware. We have plenty of forum members who don't run BL, and all are welcome here (look at our forum categories for proof!).
