It is finally possible to remove that chancre from the Plasma desktop, just don't accidentally delete your main panel afterwards (like I did) or you'll be ****ed...

Mint 18.1 KDE experiment

Just had to fix that clock anomaly

Eventually I would made it look like my current (eternal) openbox session, tint2 seems to feel like at home, so does wbar. Widgets are just so "fat/lack configuration", so conky would kick in sooner or later as well.

I do like kate (and that minime text scroller, wonder where they get the idea).

p.s. After testing a "beast" like that I'am seriously grateful for openbox.
