^ Sector11,
did you also consider that there was an update of the script moon_Giant in October last year?
Offline
Nice one unklar!
512 is the default, but changing that to 1000 it works flawlessly in my system.
Brilliant catch.
EDIT: I don't think it deserves a re-bundling of the script, I'll just add a link in the front page.

Oops, I know the .conkyrc4 with me an entry
max_specials = '512', or max_specials 512
has. I have been commenting on it a long time ago. Because otherwise she did not want to start.
One to three did not have this entry...
Interesting - Conky v1.10 does not have a max_specials in the man page.
And in conky v1.9 "512" is the default and my "conkyrc4" does not have a "max_specials" line at all
It does have:
max_user_text 32768
which is not really good for conky and mem usage... just a sec.
Someone play Twilight Zone music:
# Maximum size of user text buffer, i.e. layout below TEXT line in config file
# (default is 16384 bytes)
# max_user_text 32768
max_specials 1024
and it still works.
Genius unklar! Pure genius!

ANNOUNCEMENT
Dropbox sent me an email to inform me that their Public folder functionality will be dropped by 15-3, so I moved scripts 1d, 2b and 3 from Dropbox to Google Drive. It was a perfect chance to rename them as well:
1d -> 1_accuweather_RSS
2b -> 2.
Also changed them to 1.10 lua format.

So I just downloaded the new scripts since 1a no longer works. Followed instructions in the readme pdf.
Run this command: conky -c ~/1_accuweather/.conkyrc_1_images_2016
Get these errors.
[Deleted error output]
What did I do wrong?
EDIT: Replaced all the -- with # and saved as a different file. Also had to remove some [[ and ]] before and after the TEXT sections. So the .conkyrc that was in the .zip file wouldn't run. I reformatted it as a standard conky and it runs now.

Ok, so how do I get conky to use the high-res icons instead of the outlined icons (fonts). I like the top 2 examples in this image:
But I don't really care for the one in the bottom.
Thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out. Ok for those of you in the back of the class: the "high" res images are in the 2015 folder. The others are in the 2016 folder. Yes, I know this isn't in the documentation. You just have to run each conky and figure it out.

Excuse the delay please.
What did I do wrong?
I've decided to keep all conkyrc files in 1.10 (lua) format rather than the deprecated 1.9 format.
Soon everyone will be using conky 1.10 and as you can see the backwards conversion isn't that difficult.

No, you don't actually have to run each conky and figure it out.
There's a pdf file inside the 1_README_INFO folder which is called What_Is_What.pdf and it does exactly that: it describes which conkyrc configuration file does what.
