After my tweaking like purging pulseaudio and firefox and vlc which are not rpis best friends and switching to chromium (for using hardware acceleration), pure alsa, and audacious. Am i still running bunsenlabs? Screenfetch says yes. What do you think?

Very nice wallpaper @bronto
@damo: I like the blue wallpaper/desktop. I like blue but I keep running away from it again and again..

I got inspired by HoaS's numix desktop..

ps: icon theme is also numix!

Thanks! Same to you!

Oh yes, definitely.

The whole point of the distribution is that it should be very easy for the user to tweak the **** out of it, you should see what I've done to mine big_smile

BunsenLabs is a state of mind cool

Hello, Firefox became too heavy for my old tiny Samsung NC 10, I replaced it by Opera which is much faster.

Unity or Gnome3 seem to be the best bet with HiDpi.  You can get a WM to scale up with a custom WinDec and big fonts but GTK2 is so wonky.

Same thing but with gnome3 instead of unity.  Think I like it better.

Re: January 2017 Screenshots

@dobbie Thanks.  It's pretty much stock gnome on arch with Boston icons and same artists cliff wall.  I'm digging the systemd boot, wayland support, and hidpi detection.  Only gnome extensions installed are dashtodock and topiconsplus.

I'm gonna look at some of your older gnome scrots for ideas.

Gnome never looked right for me on HIDPI, everything was too large and the fact there is only whole numbering scaling really made it a pain the backside.

Hopefully you find something you like.
