[Solved] no sound after update today

Hello,
I try to understand all topics but it's not clear for me .
I have updated my system today and I have no sound now
Can you help me?
I need to modify autostart? remove volti?

OP what was the issue?  Were the drivers not loaded, or was Alsa just not recognizing it? Does it now work across reboots?

Hello,
Sorry for the delay : I don't used my computer.

The sound is ok now after some reboot or power off.
I can't explain the problem, but if you give me some indications I will try to do some commands in the terminal.

(The problem was : no sound after update, upgrade and dist-upgrade.)

Not to bump a potentially dead thread, but I am having this same issue. Sound use to work fine, but in the last few days, I have been having to issue:

sudo alsactl init

after each reboot. Sound works fine, but if I reboot I am back to no sound until I issue the command again. Weird.
