It is urxvt! The letterSpace was set to -2. I must say that I like it compact. Now I noticed though the W overlapping/melting with the M, e.g.
I've set it to -1. Thanks for the tip!

P.S. @HoaS: I'll leave the ponys to you. That Vader-Pony is a bit scary

Thanks for your help HoaS, i got the Numix theme

Im using the xfce panel so couldnt fix that network systray panel icon as described in the link but i will try and get around to figuring out tint2 over the weekend. I did find if i played around with sizing of the system tray network icon (set it to 24px out of a maximum of 64) in xfce4 panel it lost the black background but then the icon itself lost its color or went black, but the sizing now looks correct and no black background, bit weird. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of where to get that updated tint2 as well. Coming from using Arch to Debian is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to finding the right packages, im learning both now and thinking of setting up dual boot Bunsenlabs and pure Arch installs side by side, anyhow im going OT now.....

Helium wallpaper WIPs, using the feel of Debian Stretch "softwaves". The BL flame is @ututo's bl-infinity logo.

EDIT: the whole thing works beautifully except for the touchpad scrolling, the switch to libinput has changed the coasting algorithm and there is no userspace tuning knob

Some improvement to the "2nd-ary transparent terminal" idea, now featuring urxvt
and I took the time to configure weechat:

p.s. In weechat can't find a good option to disable colors, so this is alt+l mode.

After my tweaking like purging pulseaudio and firefox and vlc which are not rpis best friends and switching to chromium (for using hardware acceleration), pure alsa, and audacious. Am i still running bunsenlabs? Screenfetch says yes. What do you think?
