@mi: is that urxvt?

I think your letterSpace is too close, I had to change mine from -2 to 0 to get my Fantasque Sans Mono font working correctly:

I like to use ponysay to test the font alignment — the colour blocks will either overlap or leave a gap unless the configuration is correct 8)

Also, I think I need to get out more...

EDIT: changed my mind, using URxvt.letterSpace = -1 now

I really like bunsenlabs....Have modded bunsenlabs with various themes but had to come back to the original setup, cant be beat. Maybe some Numix additions to the window panels/borders but that would be about it. I like the Numix flat theming, does not seem available in the Debian Jessie Repo's?

Im no good at tint2 but will be trying to figure it all out in the future, until then im using Xfce4 panel in a minimalist way.

Because it is just a GTK theme, it is actually "safe" to install the .deb file from stretch:

Use gdebi to install it

EDIT: ignore the slight border artefacts in my scrot, my openbox has rounded corners and the Numix themerc needs tweaking to accommodate this 8)
