^ That is amazing
My openbox now has rounded corners:

The servant lifted off a kind of ottoman a long peacock-blue drapery, rather of the nature of a domino, on the front of which was emblazoned a large golden sun, and which was splashed here and there with flaming stars and crescents. “You’re to be dressed as Thursday, sir,” said the valet somewhat affably.

Happy New Year!
I've been busy. And cold. My desktop keeps me warm.
I switched to XFCE because when I update to ubu 16.04 or perhaps 18.04 if I'm slow and lazy, xfce will play way more nicely with GTK 3 than it has before... and I basically just use xfpanel and thunar as a DE anyway.

@brontosaurusrex, have you tried the aqsis (MOSAIC) plugins?
I have the second generation rounded corners patch running:
It's set to cornerRadius=4 and is ever-so-subtle but the effect is rather like kerning — once you notice it, the sharp stock corners seem wrong, almost offensive to the eye...
]:D
EDIT: I still have /test

@HoaS:
On Blender: I did try many different rendering engines over the past, but (as an 3d amateur) actually I'am hoping for something real-time in 2017 (a really good viewport). I do kinda like the Disney idea as well, that is single node for every material + hopefully substance painter compatible input nodes.
On OB rounded corners: If the aliasing can be fixed,
that would be a really nice addition.

Dobbie03, how do you make that workspace indicator, four dots in the lower-right corner?

My attempt at an Arc desktop:
@mrneilypops: do you have your actual ~/.Xresources?
I can't find the Arc-themed one in your link
