... and after being so sleepy this morning, what I need is a good coffee.

Mmm, that's better smile

The servant lifted off a kind of ottoman a long peacock-blue drapery, rather of the nature of a domino, on the front of which was emblazoned a large golden sun, and which was splashed here and there with flaming stars and crescents. “You’re to be dressed as Thursday, sir,” said the valet somewhat affably.

Finally managed to find some actual Yorkshire Tea here in France for when I'm not in a coffee mood. Joy! big_smile

As you mentioned "old magazines" and "reading material" on the coffee table, I'd like to post a link I saw recently. They had the September issue of Linux Journal for free, so anyone feels reading some not too old linux news, here it is:

Re: Bunsen Coffee Shoppe

Monday morning. Yuck. I'll be grabbing a superlatte with all 8 espresso shots that come out of that machine. On the plus side, I've replenished the biscuit tin. That's "cookie jar" for you US English speakers tongue

Re: Bunsen Coffee Shoppe

Oooooooooooooooo fresh biscuits! And not in the "damo zone" either.

Think I'll join you with that superlatte with all 8 espresso shots. ... mmmmmm OH YEA!!!!

Have as nice a Monday as you can photonucleon.  I just spent 2½ hours in a bank line up after a 4 day weekend.  What a mess!  ATM's didn't have cash them and of the 5 "Auto Service" machines - only one worked.  Briefly I saw a Windows Vista logo on one of the non functioning ones.  And then the 'teller' had the gall to ask/suggest/hint at the fact I was supposed to use the machines!  YEA RIGHT - bent his ear six ways to Sunday.  It helped.

Great way to start a week! NOT!

Thank you! You too, and all the BunsenLabs people (do we have a collective noun? Bunsenlaboratorians? Bunseners?)

It's been an exhausting day, not helped by the fact that my body decided to wake itself up at 5am, so I only had about 5 hours sleep. I was supposed to have the relative luxury of waking up at 8am this morning, but never mind lol roll

Well, if we didn't, those sound better than the BunsenLabRats I've been using  smile

Labonians ... naaaaaaaaa ... Bunseners sounds best I think.

OH MY!  Now I know why the "superlatte with all 8 espresso shots".
It was certainly an eye opener! 8)

That routine is probably something we have all had to endure many times. But if a bank has 7 wickets they should damn well have 7 tellers not 2!

I bought myself a Nespresso Inissia for Christmas along with some refillable metal pods and a Zassenhaus hand grinder. Just going to experiment.

Re: Bunsen Coffee Shoppe

Well, a little cafe chit-chat:  How did I wanted to install a browser and ended up playing "Boulder Dash" on #BĹ?

There is epiphany, which is the "out-of-the-box" browser on Elementary. I wanted to give it a try: "apt-get install epiphany" - fine. Let's start it.

Hmmm, there is no menu-entry. I searched for this browser in jgmenu, obamenu, debian-menu - no entry!!! Good, let's start it via terminal aaaaannnddd: There is "Boulder Dash"!

It turnes out that Epiphany is the package for a game, which was called "Boulder Dash" in ancient times. Of course I did not find any entry under "Network" - it's under "Games".

Btw. the browser installs via "apt-get install epiphany-browser". In the menu it is called the X Web Browser. Very basic, I like it.

Where's the espresso machine? I could use a double this morning.  lol

Your post reminded me that we finally bought and installed a new coffee maker several months ago, we had a Keurig one earlier, however in our opinion it wasn't very good  tongue At this time we got this Elite Cuisine one and I can say that it's much better, personally I'm very satisfied with this purchase!  O:)

I've heard much about Nespresso machines like in this list from cozzy too, I'm curious somebody tried them? It's just interesting if they are so good with that special coffee which they make and which is advertised so massive  smile I wanted to get one of them too but I wasn't sure that they're so good as it's advertised  big_smile
