Hello everyone!
I was a very big #! fan a few years back, so when I heard it was being 'axed' I was disappointed, but I'm glad to see the community picked up the torch! (or bunsen burner). I'm no stranger to gnu/linux, but by far a pro. I have my Linux+ certification, and ever since have been an avid user. I find myself these days trying to perfect my scripting skill set. I want to get to the point where I don't need to keep referencing the AWK or SED notes, and be able to think of scripts off the cuff.
I work in VoIP, IMS, and VoLTE so a lot of the software we run is on top of Linux Redhat platforms, but the skill and knowledge of scripting crosses all boundaries! I hope to see everyone around, and I hope to most importantly keep up with the community, post often, and share what I can. In true gnu fashion!
