^ I have mixed feelings about Unity, but overall I'd prefer something with less overkill. I'll probably go with Mint Cinnamon, but OpenSUSE Leap, the stable version, would also be tempting. I think my wife might like Debian Gnome. Perhaps I'll install those two on VB and have her take a look.

Truth be know so have I ... It's not a 'solid' but if I'm a bit tired or been doing a lot of calculations it comes out more than say a fresh after breakfast experience. Never bad enough or concerned enough to go see a doc, he's just call me crazy and move on.

It's official, I'm over-the-hill ! Know what you're saying is 100% right on Sector. Even at this age, when stopping to think about it can't believe I'm fricken 42-3. Though where there's a will there's a way. I'm 42 going on 17 because I choose to be, by sheer power of will. Planning on dong ( edit: doing, not donging, that would be wrong on so many levels. ) a peter pan and refusing to ever grow up.

^ No matter how you look at it, you're a "youngster" to many of us. Especially since some of us are getting mighty close to the big 7-0, or, as Sector 11 would write, 7.0. Hmmmm...sounds a bit like OS versions, but will there be a 7.0.1 or do you become 7.1? That said, in 2017 I "upgrade" to 7.0. Unfortunately, it won't be 7.0 LTS. I wonder how many versions I have left. Will I see 9.0 before I experience the ultimate system crash and my last thought echo's Billy Pilgrim's words, "So it goes."? 8)
