Re: Suspend works, wakeup dont work - MacbookAir early 2015

Hmmm...inxi also tells us that you have a Broadwell CPU, which means you are not getting really good graphics performance with the Jessie xserver-xorg-video-intel driver.  The "gallium" and llvmpipe in this line means that you're getting half-fast performance:

GLX Renderer: Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 3.5, 256 bits)

Try upgrading to the jessie-backports version of that driver package, restart the system, and see if that makes any difference in that GLX line.  If not, you'll have to upgrade to the jessie-backports Mesa.  Possibly, the driver and Mesa upgrades would have fixed your backlight problem without that special file--you might experiment to help other users.

is it normal that default version of a program is always the stable version and I have to force the backport version when needed?

Yes, that is the intended behaviour -- backports have an APT pin value of 100 whereas the jessie repositories are pinned at 500.

For more on this, read

man apt_preferences

It looks like your video driver is working well now, with Jessie's stock Mesa 10.3.2 and the upgraded kernel and driver.  You have 5th generation Broadwell graphics, so from what I've observed, the 6th generation Skylake is the one that demands the Mesa upgrade from backports to get full functionality.

Hello. New here.
When you are in suspend mode, did you try to "briefly" hit the power button to wake up your computer from it state ?
Then the computer wakes up and then you can hit the barspace to awake the screen and use it. Again.
That's usually the procedure :-(
