So true ... like someone's signature around here: "I haven't failed, I found thousands of ways it doesn't work!" - a mis-quote by Edison I think it was.

Sector11 - I have seen several very impressive chronograph conky scripts from you that I'm trying to locate. I just came accross this forum. The Ubuntu forum that I found these on at was extremely long (over 2700 pages I think) and I could only find bits and pieces of code but not the entire script within a downloadable file or single post. It also looks like you hadn't been using that forum since 2012.
Here are a couple of my favorites

I like this weather conky script also.

Can you please point me to where I can obtain these awesome conky scripts please?
Thanks

Midnight here ... off to bed ... but yes, I can either point you to them or re-post them here. Please lets me start tomorrow though - I am off to bed.
Or ... start with one link - the v9000 thread at the now 'read only' CrunchBang forums. Please do not continue that discussion here, this is Teos Bash scripts. I will start a v9000 thread here tomorrow and contact you as well. I think you will find the chronograph clock in that thread as well.
This is what I have been running with the v9000 script for a couple of years now:
Don't worry, we'll get you fixed up.

Thanks Sector11, I grabbed the v9000 script kit (v9000_update.tar.gz) from the CrunchBang forum and started to go through the 46 pages in that thread trying to find the chronograph clock. It's 10:30 PM for me now (central time zone) and I made it through page 18 before the wife put an abrupt stop to my searching.
I appreciate the help and you helping me get fixed up. I've always been a fan of chronograph clocks and older analog gauges, nixie tubes, old frankenstein type enclosures and such.
I'm super excited about finally getting conky setup like I want it.
Thanks again.

I show my V9000 with customizations that with time and with the help of my teachers and Sector11 TEO I realized.
WOW!!! GREAT work! If I can learn how to code at least half as well as yourself, Sector 11 and TEO, I might be able to begin to make my own conkys from scratch. What a fine collection of talented conky experts on this forum! I hit the jackpot as I was really struggling.
I like EVERYTHING about your theme. The info bar on the right side is perfect. The chronograph on the left is awesome! I really like the weather information layout as well. How hard would it be for me to talk you into sharing your conky scripts so I can use it on my system? I'm a conky beginner, so unfortunately I would need everything.

I really like this and I am so impressed with the work.
With my screen layout (using Gnome classic, but still experimenting around with several others like cinnamon) not sure if I would be better off with the horizontal or vertical approach with the weather information boxes.
Everyone here is so considerate and helpful. Thanks in advance for pointing me to or reposting your work here when you get a chance.
They say learning to program starts with finding good code and "borrowing" and modifying to make it your own. As great as all of the themes are that I am seeing here, I don't see making very many changes at all.
Thanks again and great stuff.

IF I may make a suggestion. You are in one hell of a weather script thread right here. Rather than play with v9000 (which BTW is rather complicated to configure) play with Teo's script's right here Adding a LUA clock to them is nothing and you'll have a LOT of people here to help you. Self included.
The images you linked to are OLD and possibly using conkyForecast (2011) or an older Teo script that is no longer active.
I will however post that v9000 template for you.

I'm having a problem finding a working version of my chronograph. I simply have too many conky scripts here
FOUND THEM - Tucked away on a little used partition under /media/10/Konky
Copied them to /media/5/Conky and YES! HUSTON we have power ... not quite lift off but we have power!
FREE SAMPLE: All based on TBG's Wuinderground script (obviously an older version)
Ahhhhhhhhhhh back at the conky keyboard again - - - life is good!

As many different conkys you have - you could have eight different themes active at the same time - 4 workspaces with dual monitors - one theme per monitor for the 4 different workspaces. Never a dull moment!

@ Nili - NOA?
Hey and I did Weather in space Space too ... The "centre" panel in the Space Shuttle actually rotated through the various (real) landing sites the shuttle could use. Managed that with woulf's "rotating.lua" script. Of course it's old, using ConkyForecast that is now defunct. Adaptable to any of Teo's scripts though.
Space Shuttle (the tar.gz) and then jumped into the future and went into Deep Space (the tar.gz)
mrpeachy and woulf - two of LUA's greats as far as I am concerned.
@ Teo - Yea, well if that's true, I need new parts!

OH that NOAA, you'd be surprised what searching for NOA brings up. Like a female singer Noa, blah blag ...
Anyway I don't limit myself to the USA - not being in the US it would be silly of me to do so.
But I get the idea. AND I'll take that as a compliment!
Also, I have to admit, my interest in weather is a lot older than my interest in conky, by at least 30+ years. So one can imagine how happy I was to discover they work well together.
But I also have to disagree, I'm not like NOAA for Linux, that would be for people like lvph, Vaphell, kaivalagi, TeoBigusGeekus and others that create the scripts that collect the data.
I'm like the Local Weatherman for Linux that reports the weather. ie: like lvph's script that I run in OB:
I've got weather coming out of my ears.

Oh Man, those were still times.
I do not remember when I saw this picture for the first time. I know, however, that I wondered how this crazy Conky guy got the data into the cockpit. ]:D
The co-pilots Gutterslob I unfortunately never got to know. Ingeniously the button for the coffee "C off" on the "SS Statler 19 August 11".
absolutely awesome
Sorry @Teo
