Hi, got my bluetooth working, thanks.
I don't see a brightness control in Tint2, could you suggest something?
I work from a bright office, on dim a train and my dark flat, I need a quick way adjust my screen brightness.
thanks!

Not exactly an applet, but https://linuxcritic.wordpress.com/2015/ … s-in-lxde/
edit: actually you probably want 'xbacklight'.
and this
Most laptops adjust their brightness settings using the function key in conjunction with another key. For example, pressing and holding the function key (abbreviated as "Fn") and pressing the up or down arrow keys may increase or decrease the screen brightness.

You're right! Turns out it's Fn+F2 to decrease and Fn+F3 to increase on my Samsung Series 9!
Thanks!!

For the record, the backported version of xfce4-power-manager has a natty little slider control for the backlight level that can be accessed from the systray battery icon.

You can edit your original post and add [SOLVED] to the beginning of the title.
You must unlearn what you have learned.
