It's rare that I change my 'daily' conkys these days. But this is a keeper - and with the new font from Teo too: Fira Mono
This is a keeper ... at least for a while

Hi!

Nice one ragamatrix.
And the displaying of hours is not always correct but I don't know how to change it with sed.
Could you please elaborate?

thanks Teo, and well yes.. I think the problem is for the next hour forecast on this line:
${execi 600 sed -n '05p' $HOME/1_accuweather/hourly1|cut -c-3}
It displays for ex in the morning only one letter "11a" rather than "11am" I don't know why for pm it's ok...?

Errrr.... where did you find that line?

Communication...
I've modified the "htc"(HTCSpill) like, that sector11 has posted.
Here's the original, just changed the colour of the text clock.

@ Teo - ragamatrix is modifying (adding hours) to one I created.
@ ragamatrix - yes, mine but you added the hours part
In the ~/1_accuweather/hourly file the times are in AM/PM format so you will have 1 to 9am/pm (three characters) or 10 to 12am/pm (4 characters)
By adding the |cut -c-3} you are forcing a cut at the third character. You will not see a difference with single digit time ie:1-9am/pm but with with the double digit times 10/11/12.
Remove the "|cut -c-3" from the /hourly lines:
${execi 600 sed -n '05p' $HOME/1_accuweather/hourly1}
and adjust for max spacing of 4 characters. Not needed it's OK
Try this code:
## pkill -xf "conky -q -c /home/sector11/1_accuweather/HTCSpill.ragamatrix.conky" &

^ You would be surprised at how many conkys by others have lines like that in them when they ask for help. And if they don't edit the line itself, it takes me directly to the conky they are talking about.
Plus they are working lines ... for example, the one I tweaked for you:
## pkill -xf "conky -q -c /home/sector11/1_accuweather/HTCSpill.ragamatrix.conky" &
I copy this part to medit's terminal:
conky -q -c /home/sector11/1_accuweather/HTCSpill.ragamatrix.conky
and start the conky:
Then I copy the complete line, not the ##, to the terminal to stop "just that one conky":
Very handy when 'testing' things because now in a terminal ... use the up arrow to repeat the commands.
I must re-learn spanish, I'll go soon at "the other side of the wall" in south america... Heum..
Well if you come to Buenos Aires I hope we can meet and "at least" have a coffee, if you don't mind being seen with an old man!
A friend and old conky enthusiast "The Grouch" came up with that line when someone at Ubuntu asked: Can I kill just one conky? - and everyone said - "NO, it's all of them or none of them." I cannot take credit.

Thanks a lot for invitation my "old" friend
I'd like to take a coffee with you but American continent is big... unfortunately I'm going in Mexico I'm afraid that Buenos Aires is too far... I really appreciated thanks again.
By the way, how they make coffee at Buenos Aires, stronger than in north America ? Nice day.

Well then, the invitation will never expire; I have one for Teo too! BTW, Mexico is in North America, although it is the southern most country in North America. Of the Mexican's I have met, I find them very friendly people.
And yes, coffee here in Buenos Aires is stronger than the coffee of Canada and the US. Never been to Mexico though. I hope you enjoy yourself.
Que tengas un buen día.

A few from bears, a deer and either a giant dog, or a wolf.
EDIT: To anyone wondering what we're talking about, I got a job as a surveyor/worksite manager on a public work next to a river and I found the following fresh footprints on the river bank (my foot for scale):
Probably the cub
Probably the mother
Probably both, walking next to each other
