[SOLVED] UI window icon size

Hi team,
I am wondering if I can increase the icon sizes of the UI windows - the icons at the top left and right of the windows (e.g., the minimize/maximize/eXit at the top right). I am not sure how to search for this in the forum however, i.e., what are the term used for these icons, so there might already be discussion on this. A pointer to such discussions is also welcome.
Regards.

Try this theme:

Click on "View Raw" to download the tarball wink

A quick and dirty way: increasing the font size in Openbox settings increases the size of decoration icons.

^mradovan: icons don't grow larger, but buttons around them do.

Sorry, that's what I meant... makes them easier to aim with the mouse smile

ahh, now i see.
there's no easy fix for this, because openbox uses pixmaps for these icons, and a pixel is a pixel even on hdpi monitors. (or isn't it? iphones use virtual pixels... just a thought)

anyhow, the easiest is probably to use a theme customised for such cases, i.e. using large pixmaps for the icons.

It is an easy job to resize the xbm files in the openbox directory of the theme.

Excellent - the theme and the pointer to other article worked nicely.
