how to install Hydrogen when I have crunchbang release
Offline
I'd recommend the same approach as any operating system change:
The safe way:
1. Back up your data, park it safely on an unplugged external drive.
2. Boot the installer and install.
3. Install your favourite programs.
4. Move your data back.
I did once try an "in place upgrade" it didn't go well.
Blessed is he who expecteth nothing, for he shall not be disappointed...
If there's an obscure or silly way to break it, but you don't know what.. Just ask me

yea mxcruz, if you're doing a complete fresh install of B.L then all you need to do is back up, and install the B.L iso over the current drive you have. If you have no expectation to save any settings, then a clean install should be just fine. Provided your hardware supports it.

There is no officialy supported upgrade path from #! to BunsenLabs although there are several guides on these boards.

i once upgraded a crunchbang install to debian jessie (stable), and it went well.
there was a howto for that either here or on crunchbang forums, written by hhh.
i'm not sure how big a step it would be to enable bunsenlabs repositories on debian stable.
