Hello,

How can I make my crunchbang look like the picture below?

* Do you see the bar at the bottom?. You see the white lines, I would like that please.
* I need to copy that bottom bar please?... How can I do that?. I would change the font too for any program bar/etc
* What should I install to make it look like below? THank you.

BunsenLabs (and Crunchbang before it) uses Tint2 for the panel. It includes a gui configuration tool (tint2conf), or you can edit the config file, to get the look that you want.

PS Please post thumbnails and link to larger images!

You install Tint2 and run the configuration tool (tint2conf). Choose Theme -> Edit theme and.....edit it to want you want.

And GKrellM if I'm not wrong.

For that fully frameless (kinda text floating in the air) terminal, fluxbox can do wonders. An old way to get a nice scratchpad terminal before old those drop-down terminal became popular was like this. stuck urxvt or something similar right onto the desktop; [Layer]     {12}. Everything will cover it, but "calling the desktop" will deiconify all windows and you'll have your scratchpad. You can assign a keystroke to toggle it. If you are interested I can tell you how. I should still have the needed fluxbox settings somewhere.

This, or Blackbox; the "bottom bar" is the slit, which Fluxbox inherited from Blackbox.  The Gentoo screenshot you linked to probably had Blackbox running.

Re: 2006 gentoo looks better than 2016 Linux distro's [ NEEDHELP/PHOTO

You will need to install:

fluxbox - window manager which provides the bottom taskbar, the items along the top look like shaded windows.
gkrellm - that system monitor on the left

don't know what that is open on the right edge of the screen.

Once installed find a fluxbox style (theme) you like - plenty of good ones by tenr.
gkrellm also has many skins/themes - don't know if that is a separate package to install.

read the man pages for fluxbox - there are man pages for fluxbox, fluxbox-style, and fluxbox-keys; those are the main three to get fluxbox configured the way you want.

Fluxbox screenshot

my fluxbox desktop, not exactly what you're looking for, but you get an idea what fluxbox can look like.
