thank you. Ive noticed the weather report change. no rain was forecast then a thunderstorm happened. I guess that's the way it goes.

I still use the full version of it on Desktop3 with a minor tweak to relocate "the clock"

But I notice the you have "The Southern Moon" in there. Poland is in the northern hemisphere so you need to change that to "The Northern Moon" - or "Na północy Księżyc" or "północ księżyca", google sucks at times, and change the moon script to use the north hemisphere moon.

somewhere around line 46-47 change south to north :

Thank you for the hints and suggestions, but I have another problem.
Well conky stops (stops the clock, conky is not responsible) during the update script 1b1 and moon_MoonGiant.

Is there a solution?

Yes that's normal. ALL of Teo's scripts stop "conky" while updating then start them again when done.

What's not right is the amount of time it looks like it has stopped - 12 minutes is a long time.

To stop that: near the beginning of each script (1b1 and moon) there are two lines you can comment out:

#kill -STOP $(pidof conky)
#killall wget

and at the end of each script there is one line to comment out.

#kill -CONT $(pidof conky)

Near the top of these two scripts:

$HOME/1b1_accuweather_images/1b1
$HOME/4_Moon/moon_MoonGiant

Change:

kill -STOP $(pidof conky)
killall wget

to

#kill -STOP $(pidof conky)
#killall wget

and near the end of them both, change:

kill -CONT $(pidof conky)

to

#kill -CONT $(pidof conky)

That will stop conky from stopping while updating.

Indeed they have.
It's been about two and a half years since their last change, so I guess they deserve it

I knew I should have gone to the end of the thread. My 1b2 and 1c failed as well, but I started the "Well, I haven't updated my scripts in a while, so..." process and by the end I was wondering what I was failing at.
