xfe info (solved)

I installed xfe file manager, is very light and brilliant but does not make me delete or move files to the trash, it gives me permission denied. if i run it as root it works.

What files are you trying to delete when you get the permission denied message? You may not have the proper permissions to be doing that regardless of the file manager.

If you create a new text file and save it somewhere like /home/<user_name>/Documents, can you delete that file from xfe?
