Debian Jessie version

I was wondering if I wanted to perform the netinstall of Debian Jessie then run the bunsen install scripts from GitHub, does the Debian version matter such as 8.0,8.1 or 8.2?

Also, I wish to install the OS onto my USB. Can i simply install debian to my USB as if it were a hard drive so that it will be a persistent setup instead of a live system?

As it's name implies, the netinstall will install Debian packages from the web, so it always installs the newest available packages.

For your other question, you mean run the installer from one USB and then install jessie to a second USB, for example? I think so, but someone more techie than me should answer that question.

Thanks for the info guys! I should have realised the netinstall would provide the latest packages. Yea I plan on booting a USB with the hydrogen ISO to install onto another USB so that i can have a persistent OS on the go. I also plan on trying the netinstall method.

Did exactly as in that post on BL RC1 64 bit iso on a 8GB usb stick. I get boot error. On the top of the screen the word MBR comes on, after that Boot error.

Please don't hijack this thread -- if you have a problem, open your own thread and describe more fully exactly what you have done (including all commands used and resulting terminal output) and exactly what the error was.
