[SOLVED] Can't Install from USB #2

Downloaded new iso today(7/10/2016), used rufus(DD copy) to create USB stick. Installed bunsenlabs, and logon screen doesn't appear. I get a black screen, same with live install.

Firstly, read the Installation instructions on the website, and don't use Rufus (like in "Can't install from USB #1") or unetbootin!

This question is a common one on the forum, so have a look through recent Basic Help & Support posts for ways others have solved it.

You give no information about your hardware Is it recent? Graphics card? Secure boot? Partitioning method?

Why would you install the system if the live session doesn't work?

Do you see the GRUB (bootloader) screen?

Got pulled away from the computer for hours.

I was able to fix the problem by adding nouveau.modeset=0 to the end of the grub line that starts with "linux".
Once the logon screen appeared I installed the latest nvidia driver and everything is working.
The hardware is an asus g51j with an nvidia GTS 360M.
