I used Crunchbang along time ago on an old computer, i'm gettung back into it, i remember what i loved about it.
I've got Crunchbang on my laptop but one thing i cant find, the two finger scrolling on the touchpad is working fine but the tapping the touchpad to make a selection, or tapping the pad as a left mouse click.
I'm sure the settings are here somewhere, just cant put my hands on it...
Any advice?

^ See 'man synclient' for all the settings
I would guess at "TapButton2=1", ie a 2-finger tap = Button1, which is usually left mouse button.

^ You can upload images to an image hosting service, then post the thumbnail url here.
Did you read 'man synclient'? Also see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Touchpad_Synaptics
Get your current settings with
synclient
But you don't need to post images for this, just C&P any terminal output using [ code ] tags. Eg the output of the 'synclient' command, and the command you are using to set the Tap. Please include all output, including error messages.

But that isn't very helpful, because it is unreadable. Post the text you want to be read, using [ code ] tags.
If this is a fresh install, then why not use BunsenLabs? Crunchbang is years out of date, and can't be updated any more.

Sources - sources.list and backports details
sudo apt-get update
NB Try searching for answers first (this is a super-basic command). Also before asking questions, have a look at "Menu -> Help" where there are lots of links and helpfiles

... switch to BunsenLabs, it is visually similar to crunchbang
ffty. You should, just from a security viewpoint. BunsenLabs is 99% Debian jessie, the current Debian stable release, which gets security updates and is pretty much the most stable Linux system available. CrunchBang is out of date and unsupported.
