advice on trojan infection

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying the summer.
By mistake I opened an infecting .exe attachment on wine and somehow it was able to spread past the wine folder, specifically infecting various pdfs.
The damage is not big, but I would like to recover the pdfs, now quarantined with Clam, i.e. removing the trojan from them so that they can be again used safely.
Any advice?
