Handbrake problem [SOLVED]

Hi,

I have been trying to use handbrake to back up a dvd.
In the past, I have had few problems using handbrake but now it doesn't seem to recognise all the chapters on a dvd.
I installed handbrake using synaptic and I assume all the correct dependencies came with it - but I can't get it to work properly.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks.

After some searching it appears that handbrake requires libdvdcss to read protected dvds.
This is not in synaptic but libdvdread4 is and on the face of it should do the same job.

(Just to clarify things - this is a dvd I use often but is easier for me to access as a file from the computer)

SOLVED:
I had to download libdvdcss from the videolan website.

Re: Handbrake problem [SOLVED]

Good work solving this on your own, Kino.

For the record, the Videolan repo is pretty much the only reliable source for libdvdcss for Debian-based systems.
