@HoaS, excellent! The link is wrong though, you have to download the parent configs-master.zip and extract the wallpaper tar from there.

An attempt to redo my postXP grass to 3440x1440

slightly better render, more noise reduction;

(Grass rendered on sheepit, about 50 machines rendered this for an hour, would take about two days on singular i7)

OH MY!!!

I now have two new walls ... since I like the darker green grass I grabbed that and resized it to 2540x1080

Then I trimmed 620 pixels off the right side to get: brontosaurusrex_post_XP_Grass_left.png (1920x1080)

Then I trimmed 620 pixels off the left side to get: brontosaurusrex_post_XP_Grass_right.png (1920x1080)

@Sector11, to get any size directly (gravity can be center, west, east and such)

convert https://cdn.scrot.moe/images/2016/04/29/3440x1440_xp_v5.png -resize x1200 -gravity west -crop 1920x1200+0+0 xp_v5_West_1920x1200.png

(Needs image magick convert)

YUP! I have convert and use it for various images for conky. That way conkly doesn't have to 'resize' 12+ weather images on the fly.

psssssst: 1920x1080

Besides, I wanted the two edges without distortion.

xmountains can be tweaked to make nice dynamic root window backgrounds - if only the colors could be changed!
i'm working on that atm, basically asking for a handout of config file parsing. i haven't the first clue about C...

Started playing with BL Hydrigen a few days ago and made my own wallpaper.

Hydrogen atom with absorption spectrum and 3D bunsenlabs text.

And a few variations...
Without the text...

With more pronounced text and spectrum sunken as well...

As above, without the text.

Click on thumbnail for full size (1920x1200) then right-click and save.
