I've been using Opera browser recently and I'm having trouble getting videos to play in the browser from Instagram and Vine. It would appear I have no h264 support. I read online that I need to install pepperflash-nonfree but I can't seem to find it in any repository. Has anyone else been able to solve this video problem with Opera? Thanks.

... I read online that I need to install pepperflash-nonfree but I can't seem to find it in any repository. ....
It is in the Debian repos
$ apt-cache search pepperflash
pepperflashplugin-nonfree - Pepper Flash Player - browser plugin
browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash - PPAPI-host NPAPI-plugin adapter for pepperflash
Don't forget you can do Menu -> Help -> Debian -> Package Search to find packages
Make sure you have `contrib` enabled in your sources, and do
sudo apt-get install pepperflashplugin-nonfree

Aha. I found it now. I installed but it doesn't seem to fix my issue. Here's an example video: https://www.instagram.com/p/BE2Qy4Cs9QF/
I may have to go back to Chrome I suppose. It's not the end of the world but enough to not make me want to use a browser if I can't view video correctly.

Try:
sudo apt install x264

Already the newest version.
