Yeah, I am probably way behind the curve. I just never put connections together when looking at the man page, especially --extract-audio. I saw the script, fell in love with at sight and will now abandon several video to mp3 scripts I have in ~/bin

when people post about transcoding youtube videos online, you just tell them "i use linux, in your face!"
btw, youtube-dl is an optional dependency for mpv, in other words it integrates into mpv.

That's a good one. Used it for a while, but I switched to Open With which allows to use mpv or whatever other program or script you want to use (for video or anything else).
