I will switch the login screen back to the original, again using 'galternatives' - now.

2016-03-23 EDIT: Switched back to original login screen/image/wallpaper and there is no 'blink' before the
                  transition to the Openbox wallpaper appears.
2016-03-24 EDIT: Both of today's boot sessions showed the 'blink' again...So, it seems so minor of an
                  issue that I really don't worry about it. Maybe the logic flow changed in a small way.
