[SOLVED] Desktop (path to wallpaper selection) settings

Hello all,

In the "choose wallpaper" dialog, I added a path to images located on another partition (same drive). Now that dialog won't show up. It appears for a brief half-second then closes. The path was valid--just need to know where I can look to manually edit that path out.

If you look in `~/.config/thunar` you will find the config files. IIRC the custom actions file is uc.xml (I'm not on my linux machine atm)

Openbox is a window manager, not a desktop environment, so it doesn't handle the background. That custom action doesn't apply on a stock BL, although it would be possible to run a feh or nitrogen command or script to set the wallpaper.

Thanks for the welcome damo,

I wasn't clear, sorry. I was referring to openbox menu item for changing the wallpaper. Using your lead on thunar, I looked for nitrogen config and found the setting on line 10 on nitrogen.cfg.

All fixed!

~/.config/nitrogen/nitrogen.cfg

uca.xml holds the user-added custom configs, but the "add as wallpaper" item is built-in, and set somewhere else, possibly compiled into Thunar.
