Is the login screen normal?

Is it grey with a BunsenLabs (+penguin) logo on the login box?

Try clicking on the spanner icon (top right, next to the log out button) and make sure that "Openbox" is selected.

When you got to the login part, did you log in through a gui box (lightdm), or was it on a terminal command line that you logged in?

Re: [SOLVED] After installation no Openbox no GUI

Hi guys,

the login screen is normal und that "Openbox" is selected.
After login is only BunsenLaps Wallpaper.
No tint2, conky. No action from mouse (right or left click), no action from all keyboard buttons (Alt+F2).
I use 2 year ChrunchBang and i'm very very happy. Now problem with BunsenLaps. I see is BunsenLaps-RC2 (development).

Re: [SOLVED] After installation no Openbox no GUI

I testing with `pkill compton` and switch to Desktop first is nothing after a few clicks with mouse are GUI elements appeared. I think is a graphics card's drivers problem. I have old laptop with core2duo processor and nvidia GeForce Go 7300. I try to install new driver or new kernel.

Thank you.

I install new kernel with (sudo aptitude -t jessie-backports install linux-image-4.3.0-0.bpo.1-amd64) and works.
