Re: Debian - My Own Distro?

@spacex tweakos dove 1.3 is coming soon? b43 firmware included? thanks

It's already there, but with a big flaw that gives black screen for pretty much anyone not using Intel Graphics. Stupid mistake, one of my own Intel specific configs in xorg.conf.d that has sneaked it's way into the builds. Also, I have checked all the install scripts, and pipemenus, and some of them needed fixing.

All this and more is fixed in a new light-version below cd-size, that is uploaded in three versions. 64-bit, 32 bit pae and 32 bit non-pae. The light version is the same as the main version, except that I've removed Gimp, VLC and Evince, and replaced Chromium with Iceweasel. This got the builds below 700 MB, which was my goal for the light-release. The removed apps, are all installable from the menu, so nothing is lost by choosing the light-version.

These builds are staged at the moment, I haven't made them available yet, because right now I have just finished rebuilding the main(full) versions, with the fixes, and will test them before I upload them to replace the excisting builds.

But I activated the new light-version now, just for you smile

I have removed the full version, and will upload new builds for the full version, as soon as I have tested them properly. My sourceforge page is a mess now, but will be more structured tomorrow.
