Disable `light-locker`, by editing `/etc/xdg/autostart/light-locker.desktop`, and add "Hidden=true" .

Log out/in.

Of course this works, but I always advocate copying /etc/xdg/autostart/light-locker.desktop to ~/.config/autostart/light-locker.desktop and editing your personal file, leaving the system file alone. This doesn't require sudo (always a plus IMHO) and will survive upgrades of light-locker.

very important! this way it will also survive updates.
it is sane remarks like this that usually drown in the happiness of having solved your first problem, so: qft.
